Welcome to the squash section of our website! Squash came to the Club in 1977, and since then we’ve gone from strength to strength to become the vibrant Squash Club we are today.
Our mission is to build a squash and racketball community which encourages all members of the community to play and enjoy the game to the best of their ability in a friendly and inclusive environment.
Over 500 members of all ages play squash here at Leamington; over 300 squash-only members, over 130 joint tennis and squash members and 75 junior members. There’s lots to get involved with – whether that’s representing our club through competitive squash, playing our annual internal league friendly tournament, having a hit at Club Night or signing up to our ever-growing Squash and Squash 57 leagues.
Our club squash coach, Jason, is England Squash Club Coach of the Year. He offers coaching, runs schools programmes, develops the club’s junior programme and creates social squash activities for members.
We regularly host events at the club, such as junior and senior county fixtures, junior county training and our own Leamington Open tournament.
We have two glass back courts (one opened in 2016) with tiered seating for 140 spectators (70 on each court) and 4 plaster back courts with glass doors and balcony viewing. All courts are maintained to competition standard by England Squash-preferred contractor Courtcare.
Being a member at Leamington Squash Club is great. You’ll get a friendly welcome, an introduction from club coach Jason Pike and the club will feel like home in no time. It’s the best time to join as we have more members than ever before and our new glass-backed court is ready to enjoy.
