The policy of the club is to concentrate investment on excellent sports facilities. We are a Community Amateur Sports Club registered with HMRC (Charities Ref Number CH1119).
The mission statement of our organisation is :-
“Our mission is to encourage and promote the participation and enjoyment of Tennis, Squash and Racketball for all ages, abilities and backgrounds.”
We are a members club open to all without discrimination and the facilities are available to members without discrimination. We are managed by volunteers and all funds generated by the club are invested back in to the club. If the club were to be dissolved any outstanding monies would not be distributed to members but transferred to another club that is registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club. i.e.
- We are non-profit making
- Our constitution includes a non-distribution clause or limits any distribution of profits or surpluses to another non-profit making club or its members on winding up or dissolution
- We use all profits or surpluses from its playing activities to maintain or improve the related facilities or for the purposes of a non-profit making body
- We are not subject to commercial influence nor part of a wider commercial undertaking
We are affiliated to both the Lawn Tennis Association and England Squash.
